A philosophy that connects Urban Zen to our communities. The Haiti Artisan Project is a perfect example. Inspired by the elements of Haiti: stone, wood, paper, metal, tobacco and horn are transformed by Haitian hand with artistry refined through generations and cultivated through Donna Karan's vision for the Haiti Artisan Project. The project promotes economic development by supporting artists through a program that emphasizes the beauty of their gifts and the wisdom of their culture, while making it possible for their crafts to be available to a wider community of consumers.
